You said it yourself

Its intense...but in a soothing kind of way.

Very true, very true. I started playing this and minimized the window so I could finish doing something...and mna, it's really great. Doesn't get annoying at all. Would be perfect for the credits of like, a childrens horror flick or somehting...well, it reminds me of somehting like that for some reason.

Really enjoyed this. Cool instruments. And I caught that well known piano bit!! DON'T ACT LIKE YOU DON"T KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!

You probably don't..Nevermind, hah.

Perfect for a children's horror flick? I see where you are going...its too bad there is no such thing as a childrens horror flick, and if there is....god help the child who saw it

Good background music

This is a nice track to have playing in the background. It has a catchy tune to it. All of your songs have really great synth sounds, this isn't any different. Not much to the instruments though, seems rather bland. I think this would work better as a dance track with a faster tempo, but, I don't dance. In fact, I hate dancing...So, maybe I wouldn't know.
I'm not good with genres either.

I found this track rather boring. But I tend to listen to music with my full attention.. So I like to be entertained. There is no alteration.
But I mean, that doesn't mean it's not good; Not at all. In fact, I think it's great. It's just not the type of music I would sit down in a chair and listen to. It's more tasky. Like, driving-in-a-car-with-friends-having-a-conversation music....Does that make sense?

I'm confusing myself.

lol thanks for the review, im guessing this is near the top in the dance charts, its really more of an ambiant\trance but i don have any dance songs so i figured id make a hybrid (cross between 2) and yeah i get what u mean. some of my new stuff (in my opinion, sum ppl still like this better) blows this away, so maybe if ur bored u should check it out.

thx for the review

Awesome

The beginning reminded me of an 80's Christmas song.
Really cool voice in this song.

Pretty spiffy. I like the lyrics...I can relate.

Heh, yeah, it was certainly a drudge. Thanks for the $1 by the way, it's the first time anyone's donated anything to my Paypal. It made me laugh...

Cool

Great battle sounds. I'm not so sure about the clapping though. It doesn't seem to fit. At least not the beat that you for it. Maybe adding some reverb to it and slow it down, and then add another sound to keep with the fast boss battling pace of DESTRUCTION!!! ARRHAHRHARHARHARHARHAR MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

thnx for the feedback

Weeee!

ANother great laid back track by you, my friend. I really enjoyed all of the sounds. They were not over done and that works well for a laid back song.

I like that signiture guitar sound you add in your songs. I believe it to also be in "In The Wash." Man. Anyways, that was really cool, it was there for a split second to kick me in the keester.

I think that the song would do some good from a pitch change in the piano when the violin-thing first introduced itself....Or maybe it wouldn't, but I'm interested in hearing what it would sound like because I felt like that would have influenced the idea it gave me of..I donno, *laughs*. It also would have cut some of the repetition it brings. The piano keeps playing the same great tune, and then change comes in and it would have "AX-ENTED" it a bit. It was just something that crossed my mind listening it the 2nd time around.

I have to say something about the bass: It was very well done. Why? Because it added to that cool flow very nicly. All of your tracks fit into this mold of 1 idea in each song. It's great, you drift off once in a while but it's still set atop this 1 idea... Kind of like the Grateful Dead.
It also had that beat I remember from Pizza Groove, Mister!

The bass only parts when the piano stops for a beat were likened by me also. Gave me a breather. And breathers are nifty. I don't imagine a condom with breathing holes would work well though...

JosephMcGregor responds:

I totally understand what you mean about the repetetiveness-it's basically the same riff on the piano 3 times through, just adding different parts every time. And I'm glad u liked the bass, I don't know if you noticed but I changed it every time; by the 3rd time it's 3 different instruments on 3 octaves to give it a really definitive sound. And I love that guitar sound, that's why I always use it, and am glad someone else appreciates it also. Also, the beat is diff from pizza groove, but it's the same kind of light swing feel, and I think the rythym that was being played on the snare in pizza is on the ride cymbal in this one. Anyways, always a pleasure to read your reviews, thanks for listening!

Great

This song has ended my nostalgia. This is so awesome. I can't explain why. 5/5

Julianzzzzz responds:

hey thanks man

Great

I really love those low bass sounds. It really makes you feel like you are inside of the headphones. As if it carries you off your feet. The ocean sounds and the drums keep me thinking of the beach. The slow tempo really works with this. Then it ends with a piano.. Mwahaha, nice.

Very calming sounds you put in this. Great job. To me it would have sounded better with a different ending. Left me stranded the way it cut off.

Thanks for the great review man.

I do love sub-bass...

I'm glad the song reminded you of a beach and the ocean, I was going for a relaxing yet engaging melodic experience with this one. I'm glad you liked the piano part, it's one of my favorite parts in any of my songs. I ended the song on a strange note, the sub dominant tone I believe (God it's been forever since music theory) for a strange kind of feel. I actually got the idea directly from an Incubus song, called "Monuments and Melodies". They end the song on a strange chord and it just jarred me. I had to use that same idea. Anyway, thanks again for the review. Oddly enough though, I'm still at 0 for this song. Oh well

Weird is good.

Weird is good. Although my bass speaker almost erupted, hah. I really liked the synth. That "loud-2-high" sound makes it really interesting.
