[Last Night, Last Time]

nice!

Really cool sounds in this track. I like the how the beginning sounded, it reminded me of J-Lo for some reason, probably just because I had the pop genre in my mind..hah. I was digging the bass, it didn't last too long which was fine, I don;t think it would have mixed well with the next verse. Everything seemed to fit well. I think this would have sounded better if it sped up during the end after those weird sound effects. Really great use of stereo on the guitar. =) Really great laid back track.

Catchiest, funniest song ever..

The lyrics to this are so funny! I love it.
It is so simple, and so catchy...I'm going to be singing this all damn day tomorrow, I can feel it.
The instruments go awesome together and have that horror theme to it.

I fly around in spooky caves and shit like that."
Oh man..I can't breahte I'm laughing so hard..... I could listen to this all damn day.
I can't get over this...ahhaha.

It is very cool how you can make random noises stay interesting. This is crazy!
I was diggin the beat. The random sounds and stuff wear me out, hah. I think I know why it grows on you: It's that 2 time thing that you did, it gives the listener a point of referance. What I mean is, after hearing one of the vocals you added, it's random. But hearing it again it doesnt seem so out of place, making it sustainable. Really neat.

My favorite part is around the end where there isn't as muchgoing on, it is only the drums and the scratching....That sounds really awesome....AYUHHH SHEEEYAHH!
I was thinking of giving this a 9, but you made this work really well....it indeed, grew on me.Yes, it is not the typical music someone would bust out in their CD Player, so I'm sure this will not appeal to many people. But I love this sort of stuff!

Really cool SFX on the voice. I like the Dance DANCE DanCE DancE part the most. That bass was cool. It keeps me paying attention to it because of the tones. Really cool.

Wow.....This was fucking awesome! I can surly tell that Shpongle was an influence: those voices and drums seem a tad familiar. This is a really awesome song. The voices were flawless!
I liked how you played the same beat a few measures during the middle. The feel of this song is soooo damn awesome. Every damn thing about it rules immensly. I can't get over this, and I can't review it 'correctly'.
The synth that ends it was a great idea BTW.
My favorite track by you by far.
Shpongle's cool. They're comming out with a new CD in a week or so titled "Nothings Lost".

Wow man, thanks for the incredible review! I'm really glad you liked it, I had a lot of fun making it and I love the song. It's a much different feel from anything else in the portal, I liked that about it. Latin beats are taking over :)

Great blues stuff. The guitar rocks.

Really great blues stuff. The bass really keeps that bluesy sound ;) That screeching (kinda sounds like a retarded sax) didn't seem too bad, I thought it was cool and kind of readys the gutiar due to the similar pitch. Although Many people don't appeal to that sort of thing. Some people may just wanna groove to the bass and drums on their own. For them you could maybe level it down a tad. *shrugs*

The guitar solo has an improv quality to it, it's really fun to listen to because there is so much different stuff that unravels. Also, it melds the end of a couple measures by fasting up at the beginning that doesn't make it directly on the beat for a split but creates a 'side project' to grasp onto. I like that; it gets my attention. That delay effect really works well.

I'm not sure which keyboard part you were talking about being uneccasary. everything seemed fine with me!
Great song man.

The originality is all for the solo..That's what blues is all about...I think.

I dig this! Man that was catchy as hell. I can't get that guitar riff out of my head. The screaming was hilarious and didn't get you guys off beat...I'd like to see you guys play live man...Thad be awesome. My favorite track by you.

This is an awesome song. And I agree, it is the best song you dun ever made. Everything flows really nicely and it isn't a crappy Pink Floyd MIDI. And no silly screaming. It's very 80's sounding.
