Chipmunkkk

Cool guitar riff and bongo sounding drums, but the vocals sound like a moronic vampire. Just the vocals is what I don't like.

hmm

It might be allright if you were playing this song live, and didn't sound like a chipmunk. That just makes me laugh. The drums need to be way louder.

Sick

That was kick ass.

Rucklo responds:

Thanx :)

Words

Very mono. Kinda irritating. Fairly repetetive. Annoying.

Cool

I don't understand that ticky muffled cow bell sound all the way through the song. I guess it keeps time and replaces a hyper kick drum or something. I don't like the singing. I'm not sure. It reminds me of a coffee house. I don't like the way you said atmosphere.

I like how the horn sweeped in after the higher pitched instrument faded out.

The instrumentation you chose seemed strange. I understand that this song has a message, but it's not portrayed in a way I like.
I try not to put too much emphasis on this stuff when rating. I give you a 6.

I would not listen to this song again. However, I enjoyed listening to it looped while writing this review.

T7online responds:

Well, everyone has got their taste and if you didn't like this, thats just fine.

Thanks for taking time to let me know how to improve though.

Because most people don't want to be happy. They're so used to their image that they give off to everyone else, so content, that they don't really "know how". It feels weird reinventing yourself. It's a giant leap. Friends and family would be confused. Old habits die hard?

AdmiralConquistador responds:

It's the leap towards the future. I've reinvented myself entirely in the last 2 months... I was depressed for 2 years because of certain situations, and not that I ever contemplated suicide or anything, but I really was a burden on alot of people and it probably would have been easier on them if I'd been gone, not necessarily dead, but just on my own. I was forced to reinvent myself, out of despair. Luckily, desperation led me on a straight course and I'm in a new light. Thanks for being a fan throughout most of that time, because words from BA's (Badasses) like you and my other supportive fans kept me afloat, even if only a little, during that tough time. Needless to say, this song was kind of cathartic for me to make... it means alot to me that people like this. I feel like they're applauding my rebirth, not as a musician but me escaping a pretty horrible time in my life. Again, thanks man, much love.

Excellent work. I just got finished listening to Warp brothers, and I'm in the Trancy Drum and bass mood for sure. This blows what I was listening to out of the F'n water! It is so amazing to listen to. Nothing stays put for very long, and the on going atmospheric backing makes everything meld nicely together; Nothing was out of place. The drums were very subtle and "easy". My only complaint is it sounds like MONO, there is no stereo imaging really at all(?). I'd like to hear stuff comming from different areas of the field.

I still I loved it none-the-less.

Nifty

Great loop. The bass is what really made me like this. Doesn't get too annoying after a while. And you're right, it woukld be great for an intor of some sort. Like a coffee house scene or something, heh.

TritoneAngel responds:

Thanks a lot man! This is one of the few pieces of music that I've written in a while that feature the bass, so it's a little out of character for me. I'm hoping people use it in flashes.

..Wha?

Woah. That was the longest flippin' loop I've ever heard. This is one of a kind. I think you should stay in the genre you're in now. Don't make any more like this. You only need one...And man, it was weird. I think I heard birds chirping or something. But there were none. Damn sine waves and your trickery!!!!

.Genious. (On accident?)

Weapongod30 responds:

eh, possibly genius, possibly high, whats the difference, right!

sheesh

Ahaha, that was hilarious. It kinda startled me when I first looked at it. "huh? what the hell? Johnh20?" That's me!"

Nice clear vox recording.

Awesome, haha.

Makeup your mind, don't let your mind make you up.
